I am an MSc student working under the supervision of Dr. Ruth Musgrave and Dr. Clark Richards. My research focuses on a multi-year time series of glider-based temperature and salinity data from the central Scotian Shelf. Gliders are a type of autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) that can spend weeks at sea collecting measurements of physical and biogeochemical water properties at high-resolution spatial scales. I am working on using these data to quantify mean conditions and variability on the central shelf over a 14-year period.
In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing and knitting.
